Bio / Background
This anointed group of singers enjoys lifting up the name of Jesus and just praising the Lord! Pastored by Rev. Sam Baker, the Nineveh Baptist Church has a rich history of gifted ministers, musicians and singers. The church was organized on Easter Sunday, April 1954, by the late Rev. Wilker Neal. Under his leadership the music ministry prospered for many years.
Under the leadership of Pastor Sam Baker, the music ministry moved to another level in ministry. Under the direction of Minister of Music Hezekiah Brinson, Jr., the debut CD of the Nineveh Baptist Church was released on April 29, 2007 to a sold out audience at the New Orleans Airport Hilton Grand Ballroom.
This CD has something for all generations, ranging from the traditional standard “Amazing Grace” to the Caribbean beat of “Trinity Praise”. From the rousing tracks “Church” and “Mighty God” which features our pastor Rev.
