R&B meets Pop, falls in mad love with it, marries it and then has an affair with rock.
Bio / Background
Naviv, arrived onto the New York City club scene at the end of the alternative 90’s. Head of the Black Rock Coalition, Kregg Ajamu was sponsoring a rock and funk concert at the infamous TRAMPS theatre, in New York. He put her on as the opening act of a night
of rock and funk after hearing a three song demo, with one
condition, that she fill all of the seats at an early 7:30pm spot. To everyone’s amazement and the help of producer David Pilgrim and Craig Wilson, she did just that, and instantly became the talk of the live music scene, garnishing shows at the top New York venues, such as
Wetlands,The BottomLine, ASCAP Music Showcase, The Cooler, S.O.B’s, P.J.’s and CBGB’s Gallery.
Naviv’s single, Love Tattoo, has been number one on the popular Soundclick.com for 4 weeks straight. She has been a featured artist at Ladyfest, interviewed on WCLK, a featured artist at the prestigious “Sounds from Venus, North” monthly women in music showcase and a featured artist on MP3.com.
↓ more ↓Naviv, will continue to be a featured artist on “The Sound Lounge Apache Cafe”, a newly developed showcase of music in Atlanta, Georgia sponsored by MegaBabeMusic and Eclecticmusic.net.

“The song is great, but check
out how much hair can grow
in 3 years!” -Naviv
Naviv, deemed the high-priestess of funky folk
by members of New York City's Black Rock
Coalition, dred-locked rocker flare fits with her
blend of pop-soul & rock. Her songs are vivid,
fun & intense scenes from her life that leave
you inspired.
