Straight forward, guitar-driven rock with heartfelt lyrics and a side of post-rock textures.
Bio / Background
The Nailbiters formed in Spring 2005. David Tucker, a singer-songwriter originally from Chicago, played around the NYC open mike scene starting in 2005. After recording a demo,"Backlit," at Little Pioneer Cider House, David brought aboard drummer Drew Stoga, of Brooklyn local band Furnature, and jazz keyboardist James Clark. In May 2007, The Nailbiters released their first studio album, "No Forwarding Address," recorded at Brooklyn's Seaside Lounge, where the likes of The New Pornographers, Beirut, and Antibalas have put together albums.
