Bio / Background
New England-based songwriter-singer-pianist Nadine Laughlin's debut CD 'Beautiful Mystery' contains 10 original songs ranging from solo piano and voice ('Beautiful Mystery' and 'Staying') to rich and haunting Irish-whistle filled pieces ('Pray for Grace' and 'Almost Gone') to strong band and thick harmony laden songs (like 'What If' and 'Broken Glass'). She has very special guest contributions by Gordon Bok, and by Matthew Heaton of "Siucra".
The songs tell the stories of the sorrows and joys of real life, and the beauty and strength of the human spirit that carries and leads us through.
2006 NEWS! 'Pray for Grace' is included on the celtic-style compilation album 'Beautiful Embrace' released March 2006 by Strathan Music in Scotland. Nadine joins Sarah McLachlan, Bryan Adams, Vince Gill, Maire Brennan, Capercaille and other very fine artists on this new album! www.strathan.
