Bio / Background
The Musical Sea Series combines soothing, uninterrupted sounds of Nature with relaxing music. Peaceful, uncomplicated melodies orchestrate with the comforting sounds of the sea and encourage your mind to wander as you drift into a deep state of relaxation.
Each recording runs at least one continuous hour, and sounds are never "looped." Track placement provides easy access to different movements.
Yachats, pronounced YAH-hots, originates from the Chinook Indian word, "Yahuts," meaning "dark water at the foot of the mountain." Charles, who has enjoyed great success with his "Moments of Peace" catalog and has spent many years on the Oregon Coast, is a natural choice to accompany the sounds of Yachats. We are proud to feature this Northwest treasure in the first of our series.
