Bio / Background

Formerly known as simply "lesliwood", headed by singer/songwriter/guitarist, Lesli Wood (aka Roxy), along with bassist, Matt Menovcik (aka Clark), guitarist Peg Wood (aka Violet) and drummer, Stephanie Hasselman (aka Bootsy), Ms. Led's music and live performances are energetic, passionate, and intense. Their music contains equal parts crunchy power-pop, punk rock energy, and singer/songwriter intimacy.

With a decidedly feminist message, Ms. Led has been referred to as a "must-see live show" opening up for such acts as The Gossip, Vendetta Red, and Carrie Akre. Their performances deliver the energy and raw emotion Ms. Led's audience has come to expect. Ms. Led's live performance has sparked notable excitement from fans and press alike. After performing at the First Annual Rockrgrl Conference in November, 2000, Ms. Led were selected to be featured in the upcoming conference documentary, "When Girls Attack." Ms.
