Bio / Background

First of all,you probably wonder what kind of a name for a band is M.R.T.3? "M" stands for bassist Mike Bacile. The "R" is for drummer Ranzell Merritt. The "T" stands for pianist,vocalist Tim Ross, and the 3?.... The band is a trio. We play a brunch at Scott's Seafood Restaurant every Sunday. For musicians, 10 am on Sunday is pretty brutal. But being the pros we are, we actually pull it off every Sunday. Finally we decided to go into Bell Boy Studios in Richmond,Ca. and play in the evening when we're awake. So we picked out some standards, recorded and pressed the cd. We truly hope you enjoy the cd, and are compelled to buy it!
