Dead Girls Don't Say No by Mortal Machine

The cd even became the topic of conversation at Billboard's Summit Music Conference in 1996 where it was described as the most disgusting music ever produced and the possibly the downfall of new music altogther!

That same year,"Dead Girls Don't Say No" reached #7 in the top 50 on the Alphabeat Radio Network. This radio network is syndicated and broadcast to 14 countries in Europe and the Eastern Hemisphere! The CD stayed on the charts for over 3 months.

The band name had to be changed due to a complaint by Atlantic Records for a similar band name trademark and the CD is now marketed under the name "Mortal Machine".

Vulture -like, the band is trying to capitalize on media frenzy surrounding sex-slayings that have been in the media. With songs like "Beg for it" and "Fisticuffs", Mortal Machine takes the listener to the edge of acceptable S&M. The lyrics are questionable and challenge any inroads of political correctness.

What I find weird is that there are three women in the band. Now not to be a prude or anything, but I don't think an album title which suggests the rape and murder of girls is very cool. Call me up tight , but attempting to gain by someone else's pain is rude.
