Moorlandt is Walter Vandervelde. Just a solo musician, singer/songwriter from Brussels. “Less is more” can be considered as the hook of moorlandt’s music, although without falling into pure artistic minimalism. Melodic emotions are core, mainly expressed vocally.
Moorlandt makes music. Music for listeners. Music that is deep and moving. His voice has a remarkable tone which is a sort of a mix of Nick Cave, David Sylvian and Leonard Cohen. But then again, Moorlandt is Moorlandt.
