Monkeyworks - Seeking -
There is no adequate description for Monkeyworks' music. It is simply some of the finest on the planet, and certainly the Garden State should be justly proud.

Ian Smit's tunes, tracks 2-4 of this ep, track one is a Smit, Kevin Brown, (bass) collarboration are intricately dense but highly appealing journeys through a musical wonderland. The colors of the Monkeyworks world are unique and enough to leave you short of breath. I can't listen to this enough. A former member of Ping (with N.J. fellow guitar god Peter Biedermann), Mr. Smit has chosen to retain that group's eclecticism but with the wide tonal palette offered by his bandmates, has created a kaleidoscopic collage that is in another planetary solar system and... ummm. How did I begin this review? Indescribable. I'm at a loss for further words. When was the last time that happened?
