Bio / Background

Cellar Records is proud to announce the debut release from "ROCK" River area rockers Monkey Fingers entitled "Knock One Back". For years the members had played in various bands throughout the Midwest. One night they all came together for a few beers and decided they could put together a band that could start writing their own material. After years of playing in cover bands, they felt this group could create some really good originals. "Knock One Back" is proof positive that they succeeded. The music is best described as harder edged, guitar driven style - high energy - powerful melodic rock. The bottom line is that they all just love to play and it shows in this excellent release.
