Moes Haven recorded an album for each day of December, 2006. These are the best 18 tracks from that experiment.
Bio / Background
They did it. They really did it. It's over. Now we won't hear any new Moes Haven music until 2012.
After recording 365 albums and releasing 12 of them in 2006, Moes Haven is taking a long break.
Of course, Matt Farley and Tom Scalzo are not going to stop writing amazing, groundbreaking music. They're already working on the follow-up to DECEMBER. But they won't release another song until five years from now.
Why?
Who knows! There's no point in trying to understand what motivates Moes Haven. Lots of people wondered why the boys felt the need to force themselves to record so much music in 2006. They offered no explanation on than that they thought it seemed like a fun project. Was it fun?
"Yeah," says Matt Farley. "It was lots of fun. And it forced us to write probably 100 more good songs than we would have otherwise recorded this year. Besides that, there are more than 1000 terrible songs that we also wouldn't have recorded. But those songs are funny too...
