It is a lullaby for the misrepresented and the ignored. It is both strange and familiar. It is the collision of ideas and images and sound. It is four people left to their own devices. It says all that it needs to say...if you listen...
Bio / Background
Some albums are based around one song. The one you can’t wait to hear. The one you wade through all of the promises and all of the filler to get to. The one that sticks in your head and clings to your brain like the cheap cologne sold in drug stores - the only one that is worth the price of admission.
This is not one of those albums.
Some albums are chock full of temporarily numbing and instantly forgettable singles. Blissful, glossy, sugar-soaked pure power-pop golden hits fired in rapid succession. Soon the armies of style junkies and media sheep will scarf up the generic melodies, vapid intentions, and tired cliches.
This is not one of those albums.
Some are unbelievably mediocre. They exist as inoffensive, castrated and terminally average vacuums that have about as much passion as a travel brochure. The music wilts like bad wallpaper, and the lyrics read like homework. You want the hour you just spent listening to it back - but it was only 35 minutes.
