Bio / Background
Jones is a bold writer with a restorative, liberating, and whimsical voice. While listeners more often define it by it’s uniqueness than by comparisons, its character hints at the voices of Beth Orton, Eva Cassidy, Sheryl Crow, and Cranberries’ Delores O’ Riordan. Jones shows herself at home in an acoustic and harmonic geography akin to early David Gray, Iron & Wine, and Simon & Garfunkel.
She recently turned in Canada’s East Coast for its West, returning to the city where she was born, and after a strong start with her song ‘Squander’ being selected to air on the new hit Canadian TV series ‘Falcon Beach’, is quickly establishing herself in the varying niches of the Vancouver music world.
Her work is arresting in its artistry, but also possesses a lyrical depth intent on engaging the thoughtful listener.
