Bio / Background
Singer songwriter, Mike Willis, is bringing his honest southern presence to stages and clubs across America. As homegrown as a Georgia peach, Willis has honed his style and performance at the famed Eddies Attic (in hometown decatur GA)watching live, mingling with, and often playing alongside such acts as Shawn Mullins, The Indigo Girls, Cary Pierce and John Mayer. Willis brings many of these different influences along with him Mike but has truly come into his own combining heartfelt and cleverly concieved lyrics with ear catching melodies and progressions. With his new release, "in the red" Willis pulls his listener closer not with over production and cheap tricks but with the honesty and sincerity that the music industry needs so desperately.
