Dicarlo's Review Of Headin' For The Crossroads
SO MUCH FEELING!!!!!!
Man this has so much feeling. Real soulful and so laid back. This is so in the pocket.
I love the the vocals and the lead guitar is
killer. And the band sounds great.
Love the arrangement and the change up to the quicker pace.
↓ more ↓Killer Hammond organ solo near the end before the change up back to the original tempo. Then the excellent piano and sax solo comes in. Great stuff. Classic song. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Lex Zaleta - Review Of Headin' For The Crossroads
"Crossroads" in the cross hairs Bullseye, Baby!
Where can I even begin to climb this mountain of a song? There aren't many famous modern works of this length - "Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands," "Highlands," "Alice's Restaurant Massacree," ...The Watergate Tapes' missing minutes. "HEADIN' FOR THE CROSSROADS" isn't just an album title; it IS an album.
That guitar playing makes me suspect you've already been to the Crossroads and back, my friend. Every instrument is a joy to listen to, and the songwriting is fantastic. There's a scene in DON'T LOOK BACK when a Dylan pretender named Donovan (not a bad musician, singer, and songwriter) plays a pleasant ditty and then passes the guitar to Mr. Dylan who proceeds to scorch the hotel room with a blistering rendition of "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue." No words are needed at that point. The truth is on the screen, a plain picture for all to see. There is a level of music that many can attain, and there is a lonely level occupied by a select few. Guy has joined Bob on that upper level.

Hallelujah bro!!!!!
This is one of your best mate!!I love the balance on this one, drums nice and raw,[real]The production is very good on this track, well designed sound for the genre. The song idea works for me,I was a bit concerend, before I listened, that the 'crossroads'thing has been done a lot in the blues world, but,no, up you come with a Very origanal approach to the theme, you are good!Great guit playin'!Top vox,all good mate!In the 'up'section the mp3 is a little hot in the upper mid,but I would say on CD its probably fine.Come to Australia!!
