Jessica MeShell is a young singer/songwriter from Oregon.
Jessica recorded her debut album First Love at the age of sixteen and it was released in 2003.

Bio
Jessica MeShell started singing and writing music at the age of nine. Her musical career started at the age of thirteen when she entered a singing contest called Search for the Heart. She proceeded to win and to make a three song demo of original music.
At the age of fifteen she enrolled in Beaverton Arts & Communication Magnet Academy where she studied music & was the lead singer for the bands Kurbside & Vantage Point. Jessica enjoyed singing with the band, but also played piano and congas for songs that featured other vocalists.
She gained experience in stage performance as well as meeting fellow musicians interested in the music industry.

Jessica performed with the bands Kurbside and Vantage Point for two years, and performed at a wide range of venues.
Jessica also studied Ethnic, Jazz & Ballet dance and had the chance to perform in various recitals.
In the summer of 2000, Jessica was asked to sing as a headliner for Dance West. She sang Fame at the Portland Art Museum, where she received a standing ovation. She also sang at The Portland Mat Club spearheading Dance West.
In 2001, The Jessica MeShell Band was formed and traveled throughout Oregon & Washington for a year and a half.They recorded an album of the music they had written and Jessica went on to pursue a solo career.In January of 2003, First Love was released.
Jessica went on to pursue a solo career.
2003 was a very eventful year for Jessica MeShell.In April, she was chosen as the Portland Finalist in the Teen Scene Talent Competition. She then competed against 11 other singers for the grand prize and took home the gold.She won over $3,000 worth of prizes which include studio time at Rumblefish Studio.
In May Jessica helped to organize a benefit concert and fashion show for a local boy with Hodgkins disease. She chose all of the models and taught them how to walk the runway. Jessica modeled in the Fashion Show as well as singing songs from her album.
In September, Jessica entered the Christian Music Talent Search at Festival Con Dios in Salem Oregon. She performed before a panel of judges and was chosen as the grand prize winner.That evening she performed on the main stage in an all star lineup that included Kutless, Sanctus Real, Plus One & Newsboys.
In November, Jessica was one of the headlining singers in a benefit for the Portland Rescue Mission.
In March of 2004 Jessica traveled to Nashville, Tennessee. For two months Jessica sang and promoted her album. Her performances include the Texas Troubadour Theatre which is also the home if the Ernest Tubb Museum and Nashville Cowboy Church.
Jessica was asked to sing for two live radio broadcasts of Nashville Cowboy Church which has an international audience of over 12 million listeners.
She also performed at Rocketown in downtown Nashville where she was joined by Brandon Steen on guitar and background vocals.
Other venues include the Bluebird Café, the 23rd Psalm Café, SIR Entertainment, and the Nashville Songwriters Night at the Preston.
Jessica is now 21 and is living in Branson Missouri. She is currently wrting and recording a new album of original music.
