Bio / Background
Medieval Steel was formed in 1983 releasing their self titled 4 song EP in 1984. The band received much praise for the compilation. The Epic EP Medieval Steel caught the attention of several record companies and received airplay as well. All tracks are recorded by the original Medieval Steel vocalist Bobby Franklin who is a one of a kind singer. The band went through several changes in their line-up over the years but still remains true to their original sound. In 1985, Bobby Franklin partnered with Scott Jones and together wrote songs like: Eyes Of Fire, Tears In The Rain, To Kill A King and many others.
The Dungeon Tapes is the long awaited collection of songs including the digitally re-mastered songs from the 1984 EP Medieval Steel and demo tapes from 1988 and 2004 studio sessions. The musicians are all top notch.
