Bio / Background
The electronic roots of post-punk Europe are proudly displayed on "Trash-Eighty," the debut release from the Canadian-based underground electro outfit, MANNEQUIN DEPRESSIVES.
Since their conception in 1999, MD has created a project that puts a modern spin on the classic new-wave aesthetic, by combining elements of synthpop, electronica, art-rock, and industrial. The results of this unique combination can be heard on the group's debut album, "Trash-Eighty."
Not just for industrial fans or electro-purists, "Trash-Eighty" assaults your senses with a unique combination of abstract sonic experiments and well-crafted, addictive melodies.
