Step back to the days of the great jazz singers that touched your heart and set you feet Dr. Maurice Coyle, longtime Alaska resident and Providence hospital doctor offered his interpretation of these songs. Maury grew up in a house filled with music and respect for the singers tradition. His father, as a dental student, once missed an audition as a singer in the Tommy Dorsey Band because of an attack of appendicitis. Maury reveals his fascination and love for this music by sharing both well-known songs and some nearly forgotten ones that will be sure to bring a smile to the faces and hearts of all listeners moving.
Remember when you held your lover close and slowly danced to songs of style and substance. The melodies poured out like warm velvet and the lyrics went straight to our soul. This is the music of the heart.
