Bio / Background
Mark Martin, the name is both a curse and a blessing. I am not the famous NASCAR Driver. We are about the same age but I look so much younger. I am a songwriter and guitarist from Michigan.
I have been singing and playing the guitar since I was 13 years. old. I was born the oldest of 5 children, my parents raised me Catholic and sent me to Parochial school ASAP.
This was when President Kennedy was around and the world was black and white. In school I was beaten if I didn't sing and beaten if I did not do my home work.
My father was an engineer at Chrysler Corp. and worked in the design studio, he wore a tie to work, and I wore a tie to school.
I would later follow in his footsteps and work in the same field of automotive work. I grew up interested in cars and girls in tight sweaters. I started working at age 11 with a Detroit Free Press Paper route, then over the next 7 yrs I worked in a drug store and after I graduated High School I worked at a Kmart for the summer.
