The electric bass guitar will never be thought of the same way after experiencing the lush musical landscapes presented in Mark Roberts' inaugural solo effort. "Voyage" presents a unique collection of emotive and melodic compositions using extreme extended-range 7 and 8-string electric basses as the principal instruments. Powerful sub-contra to delicate piccolo bass stylings accompany majestic synthesizers and mesmerizing percussion to weave a fabric of instrumental aural ambience to be enjoyed as a focused listen or as relaxing sonic wallpaper.
