Album Description

Great melodies and grooves abound on this debut CD from the Mark Harrison Quintet. According to Music Connection Magazine, the Quintet "excels at contemporary jazz", and keyboardist and leader Mark Harrison "plays with a high level of skill and passion that gives every song a soul". This CD combines funk, gospel, rock and hip-hop styles to create a very fresh jazz mix!

Artist Description

Mark Harrison is a Keyboard Magazine columnist and a Grammy-winner endorsed educational author. Originally from England, he has made his home and career in Los Angeles since the mid-80s. Mark was on the faculty of the internationally-acclaimed Grove School of Music, and his education materials are used by thousands of musicians in over 20 countries.

As an active composer in both the UK and USA, Mark's music is heard internationally in commercials for clients like American Express, as well as numerous TV programs including A & E's American Justice series.
