Bio / Background
Marisa Massery is a tiny flickering flame in the giant world of contemporary and gospel music.
Her deep compassion for the poor and her God given gift to sing, compose and play the piano have helped her touch hundreds of lives.
Marisa is only 19 years old but the mature clarity and range of her voice put her well beyond her years.
Marisa's trip to Haiti with a church youth group changed her life. The song she wrote, Eyes of a Haitian Child, is an insightful and compassionate look into the life of needy Haitian children. A portion of the proceeds from this album will help the poor children of the village of De Sabble.
Marisa is the same little girl that inspired the birth of the Father Daughter Valentine Dance, an outreach to families that has been duplicated all across America.
