Every Breath by Marcus Green Big Band featuring Tim Hughes and Carolyn Turnidge

It's Matt Redman meets Frank Sinatra, it's Vineyard as if arranged by Billy May, it swings and it sways and it pulls you up to God via the dancefloor.

Marcus himself takes most of the vocals with all the confidence of a guy whose life revolves aound these songs and this music. But there are also excellent guest spots from the pure-voiced Carolyn Turnidge, who also sang with Marcus' early 1990s band the Groove Heroes, and from Dove Award winner Tim Hughes on two of his own songs.

Tim Hughes first became part of the set up when Marcus spoke at Soul Survivor and Passion For Your Name conferences in England, as well as a lecture visit to Asbury Seminary in Kentucky, following the publication of Marcus' book on worship and the cross, Salvation's Song. The style was new for Tim, but the heart for worship was familiar, and that was what mattered. Plus, says Tim, "the musicianship is incredible!"
