Andreja Malir has created a beautiful new medium for this most ethereal of instruments, the harp. The feel of the beautiful origionals and well-known pieces id definitely Celtic, enhanced by the lucious sound of the concert harp and superb orchestrations.
Bio / Background
Since gaining the distinction of obtaining the higest award possible for musicical performance at the Royal conservatory in The Hague, Andreja has gone on to enjoy a solo career that has brought her to Holland ,Germany Sweden,Spain,China,Israel Switzerland,France the Czech Republic and America. In 1988 Andreja was one of the youngest principals to be appointed to the National Symphony orchestra of Ireland and has appeared as soloist many times with the NSOI.Playing works by Debussy,Handel,Ginastera, Murray- Schafer and the concerto especially written for her by Philip Martin(Marco Polo).

Andreja is a fellow of Trinity College London and holds a diploma in Spanish music awarded to her by the legendary harpist Nicanor Zabaleta.
