Bio / Background

Leaning back against a backdrop of atmospheric pop-rock, M2B deliver catchy hooks that are riddled with superb songwriting. Michael Katz writes compelling lyrics and Marcus Wolf sings them deftly. Signs is a collection of songs written after a long hiatus from music and a major life-change from Jazz Guitar Teacher/Single Guy in the city to Tech Professional/Married with kids in the burbs. The tunes were never intended to be heard by anyone else, but after recording one demo with Marus Wolf -- an incredible singer, guitar player and producer living in NYC -- it went so well we decided to see if we could carry that groove over more songs. I think it was a big success, but am very curious how others respond to it.
