"You" & " Fall in NYC" were pre-released to Austria's nat'l. alternative station FM4, & have been receiving airplay. - Three songs off their '97 release "Lost Dark & Insane" are on the soundtrack of independent feature film "Copy Shop", a black comedy which stars Jill in the role of Rita - directed by five-time Emmy winner William Electric Black, " Copy Shop" is in post-production. (CMJ New Music Report said "JACKPOT...call it trip-grunge or maybe grunge -hop. Whatever the label, parts of "Lost Dark & Insane" hint at noises scary, ominous and way intense. If this wiry ensemble can capitalize on it's considerable strengths, they might just escape the gravitational pull of New York's dark underbelly and explode into the limelight" ) - - - - - - - - - -- - - - Their last release "Blue Planet preview" in '99, has received airplay on college and commercial radio stations worldwide ( and was in the top 40 on mp3.com's alternative genre.  (- Jersey Beat said "Grunged up, highly ominous and uniquely psychedelized Gothic style sonic rumbling. Jill's haunting , purring moan and Thomas's husky growl trade off on vocals, complementing eachother beautifully. ") LOVE ALIEN has played many NYC venues including Webster Hall, on the bill with Spacehog, and Don Hill's with Hanzyl und Gretel and have also played on the West Capitol steps in Wash. D.C. at a rally against Bush (& for voters rights), a Benefit for the Independent Media Center-NY' with Ricanstruction, benefits for WTC victims & firefighters families, & in numerous Woodstock festivals, including Woodstock Delirium on Yasgurs Farm, a free (& peaceful! 25 000 people) three day music fest. - - - - - - - - - - - - In 2001 Thomas was musical composer, musical director and played live in the dark rock musical "The Damned" (Village Voice said "The Damned", a rock musical featuring Thomas Simon has made this town take notice.... a hot ticket not to miss. )
