Bio / Background
In 1972, a rapper was born not knowing he was supposed to be involved with the Gospel. The place was Long Island, New York and when his mother had her ultrasound, it was reported that the doctor heard tight lyrics going along with the heartbeat at the same time. As a child he developed his unique ear for music by experimenting with beats using pots, pans, and cardboard boxes. After his parents divorce, Little-V- became rebellious and was lured to the sights and sounds of the streets. While experiencing the rise of Hip-Hop through his residence in both Brooklyn, and Long Island, his first song was composed in 1988. Between this time and 1994, -V- was a gifted lyricist coming straight out of the New York tradition of hardcore Hip-Hop. However, while doing secular rap, deep down inside he still felt an empty feeling that went away in 1995 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
