Bio / Background
The Castle of Springfield was built by the Knights of Pithias during the early 20th century for widows and orphans. Now in the 21st century it has been dedicated to the Disability Community. In the year 2000 Linda was there for the dedication where "Live at The Castle" was recorded.
"DOWN ON ME" and "CAN'T BLAME IT ON THE MOON" She has her own style of the blues. In the beginning of her songs she sings the blues with the best of them but in the last verse she turns things around realizing life is not all bad, there will always be a better day.
"WILLOW TREE" will be featured on the new TV series "Broken Wings" and was written about a woman in Colorado that was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She went to Chicago to see Dr. Kevorkian. There she died. "The spirit is like a Willow tree, in the storms of life it will bend" a quote from the song.
"BOULDER HILL" "The Hill" near Colorado University is where Linda started her singing career at the age of 15.
