Aaron Lewis
Guitarist/ Composer
Composer Guitarist Aaron Lewis was born and raised in southern New Mexico during the 70‘s and 80‘s. He spent the better part of the 90’s freezing in Northern Colorado before returning to New Mexico upon graduation of college in June of 2000. His influences range from Bach to Count Basie, The Beastie Boys to Black Sabbath. Aaron is now introducing his “aliens have landed and we started partying” performances on the nylon string guitar. He is a lover and teacher of the guitar and will perform music from all ages of the guitar as well as his own compositions. Improvisations, exotic scales, odd time signatures, traditional forms, and using the guitar as a percussion instrument influence his compositions.
Aaron has self-produced 2 solo cds. The first was entitled Puente and consisted of classical guitar music mixed with some of Aaron’s multitrack compositions. Gemini is his second cd and is a collection of solo guitar compositions.
