Bio / Background
What happens when you spend a year in the recording studio with a band hell bent on making a great record? Ask Seattle recording artists Leuko, that's exactly what they did in 2003. Holed up in a backyard studio with producer Colin Davis, they have managed to create a record that shines with spontaneity, production and a healthy shot of bombast.
So, the country's at war, it's an election year and Britney Spears is getting married again; what makes this band so special? Let's start with Jesse Fox, Cheryl Hooper, and Kevin Walter, all founding members of the underrated northwest rock band Polecat. With their stunning debut release 40hz and sophomore effort High Pressure System, Polecat established themselves as a major Northwest institution through a combination of introspective lyrics, boundless musicianship with a raw, mesmerizing stage show.
