Bio / Background

Many are blessed with the gift of song but few rise to the level of showmanship, drive and stamina it takes to make a significant mark in the music industry. Upon learning this at the age of 13, Lemme, born in a suburb of Maryland, started laying the foundation to become a premiere vocalist.

Lemme, alumni of Bowie State University, had one of the greatest experiences of acting, in 1997, when she starred as one of the lead roles in the musical play 'Platinum', written by Professor Elliott Moffitt. This African American rendition of 'Grease', gave Lemme the opportunity to gain acting experience and perform with other talented aspiring actors and vocalists. At Bowie State University, Lemme was also a member of the BSU Gospel Choir singing leads to 'It's Been Joy' and Kirk Franklin's 'Now Behold the Lamb'. The choir toured and competed in national competitions in New York City. Lemme was also privileged to tour briefly with rap group 'Sporty Thievz' known for the single 'Cheapskate'.
