Oh, I thought I had Leisur Hive worked out - how wrong was I! What a dark brooding set of unexpected pleasures - like a freak straining at a leash (as Andrea from Living With Eating Disorders said). Seven slices of dark dark rewarding art attack - twitching, thrusting, stabbing rushes of pure adrenaline. There's a sinister edge, like walking in the dark night not quite knowing if those steps behind are actually steps that you need to worry about - and what was that? Is anyone there? Leisur Hive are playing with your senses, your fears, they have you dangling with their beautifully sharp violin and piano and mesmerizing lines of guitar - they don't need noise and violence, they're much deeper than that, they're the ones who have you on their leash, this is power.
