Lee Quick's first album, "Do You Think?", takes you on a ride through the wry side of folk, gyspy rock, alt. country, and whatever else she was in the mood for. This lyrical, sharp-witted collection touches on a variety of styles eclectic enough to keep you thinking quick.
The CD features ten Lee originals plus two co-written songs, including the fan favorite "Folk U.", a tongue-in-cheek look at musical (and sexual) education.
One standout song, "If I Apologize," originally penned in 1940 by Lee's late grandmother, Ann Whitman Dudoit, generates emotional accolades from listeners; it's been described as "something Patsy Cline should have sung."
"Bored To Hell," with its quirky, catchy hook, shows Lee's dark and unique sense of humor, and "Do You Think?" questions your thinking, or questions whether you are thinking or not.
