Bio / Background
LAVA Ministries (Los Angeles Voices of Angels) was originally founded April 4, 1994 by Vincent L. Pierson, after many appearances at various functions; he decided to take a break from the choir and pursue other avenues in Gospel. In 2002, God commissioned Vincent to start the choir again, at that time he consulted the help of Gospel Veteran - Min. Lamont Bradley & Lord Before Us Productions for Management.
On February 17, 2003 they reassembled and vowed to become one of Los Angeles' top Gospel Ministries. Since their reformation - they have shared the stage with Tim "Bishop" Brown, Nysa Shenay, Robert Gillmore, Calvin B. Rhone, Jeffrey Pearson, Min. Tony McGill, Freda Battle & the Temple Worshippers, ReJOYce, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Edwin Hawkins, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tonex, Hezekiah Walker, Ricky Dillard, and others.
Their Debut Concert on April 26, 2003 was packed to capacity.
