Jazz that sparks emotions from the loving to the raging- Larry's first Jazz record featuring long time musical friend and mentor- Ira Sullivan.
Bio / Background
Larry's debut "Jazz" CD featuring the great Ira Sullivan.
"Being on the stand with Ira Sullivan is the greatest learning experience I can recall. He would actually compose and arrange during the set.
I mean he would get an idea and just "go with it" you know? Besides being a phenom on all his different axes his real creativity would come out on the stand where he would morph a regular set of tunes into a big "piece" utilizing strengths from those around him. Ira could always bring out the best in each player."
He should be an actual class in music schools- Sign up for Ira 101- first work out your notes and get command of your axe, then play a set with Ira and see how it's all done."
Oh- this record's real good too.
"Life can be a real "E ticket" ride at times and this record depicts some of the joy I was experiencing at the time- as well as the turbulency and turmoil life can also offer."
