A Latin rock-pop band with a Mediterranean warmth twist.
Bio / Background
"La Revancha" (Spanish for "The Rematch") is a blend of rhythms created by an acoustic guitar, base & drums, fussed with colored melodies from a violin, a trumpet and an electric guitar.
The result is a Latin folk/fusion mix which main purpose is to create an experience of inner spiritual peace and freedom.
"Locura" , (spanish for "Insanity", first published album by La Revancha), is the opportunity to dare social opinion. An opportunity to be "insane" by being free and open to show feelings and emotions, but also an opportunity of being respectful to nature and everyone else... most important, "insane" to be at a constant state of spiritual peace, freedom and redemption.
"Locura" was first released in Mexico City on June 2003, after that, La Revancha has gotten airplay in Mexico City, Los Angeles, NY and many other cities.
La Revancha crosses barriers. This music was originally written in Spanish, but it has managed to touch a diverse type of crowds.
