Bio / Background
Landermason are a songwriting duo based in Northumberland, England who are recognised for their blend of original folk and jazz. Landermason are Fiona Lander (vocals, piano, whistles, saxophone, recorder and clarinet) and Paul Mason (guitars, vocals).
Since the release of their last album ‘Angel of the North’ in 2004, they have gone from strength to strength and are currently touring across the UK following the launch of their brand new CD in June 2007.
The new album titled ‘The Reason’ is a mix of songs and tunes all written, recorded and produced by Fiona and Paul. The only exception being ‘When The Boat Comes In’ a striking arrangement which combines the traditional North East folk song ‘Dance to your Daddy’ with something completely different.
