Bio / Background

This first solo album from John Lamb, AKA LambBone, received high critical acclaim. The unusual aspect of Lamb's band is the instrumentation. Most rock trios are guitar, bass & drums. Lamb, however, replaces the guitar with his raucous and wild piano playing - which drives virtually every song.

Lamb's powerful playing does not overshadow his even-more-powerful songs. His lyrics, ranging from introspective to sarcastic, draw pictures in the mind while his versatile singing commands attention.
