Bio / Background
My name is Kevin L. Jones. "KJ" is what my friends call me. I relocated to Atlanta Georgia several years ago from Memphis, Tennessee to pursue my goals in music and in life
At this time I have released my debut album entitlted "A Place Of Solitude". It is Smooth Jazz with soulful R&B flavor. When not promoting, marketing and distributing this project locally and internationally with Chris Springer of The Springtime Entertainment Group I am recording tracks for the next Album and recruiting artists that have an interest in contributing. The next effort is due out this summer. Currently "I Suppose" from the album is receiving airplay in England, KSBR in Los Angeles, and WQCD in New York. Hopefully adding Amsterdam to the growing list soon!
I compose, arrange, perform, and produce Smooth Jazz, NuJazz, and R&B music. I play all of the instruments in my works which include singing lead and background vocals. I received an award in school for "Best Jazz Drummer".
