Bio / Background
What would it sound like if some of the most popular 80’s groups played kids music? What if The Fixx did a song about a hungry monkey demanding bananas or if Falco beckoned kids to dance with their moms and dads? Imagine David Bowie singing about Rocket Boy, instead of Major Tom, blasting off into space!
Singer/songwriter Klaus Ebert has released a CD of original children’s music that will surely please music loving kids and their parents alike. Rocket Boy is a collection of rock/pop oriented songs with children’s themes as lyrics.
With songs such as “Rocket Boy”, “Here Come da Trashtruck”, “Funky Monkey”, “Boo Boo on my Knee”, “Bouncing on the Bed” and “The Rainbow Train”, Klaus taps into subjects that all kids can relate to. The songs are upbeat and danceable, especially “Got to Keep on Dancing”. “Pea Soup” explores the “least favorite food” category, while the song “Ice Cream” should have the kids running to the fridge.
