Bio / Background
With a voice and lyrics to match the sweet strains of his guitar, Seattle's version of Jackson Browne**, Kevin Jones' music is rhythmic and colorful. His lyrics are touching and very accessible. His shows have fans both dancing and listening with equally divided enthusiasm. His willingness to experiment with a variety of different acoustic guitars and odd tunings and always reaching for that invisible bass tone makes people wonder sometimes where the rest of the band is hiding. Whether solo or with as many as 9 pieces Kevin Jones is truly a Northwest treasure.
Kevin is out performing in support of his soon to be released 4th CD (untitled) on Diversity Records Ltd. Kevin Jones works extensively as soloist and band leader (Kevin Jones Band), as a session player, and has composed music for film and video for corporate and independent projects. He is a founding member of the Northwest-based acoustic band "3 Track Mind".
