Bio / Background
If you want your children to sing, dance and beg you to learn an instrument, this is the album. It marinates them in acoustic music . "Swing Right Through This Town" their 3rd CD was conceived as a benchmark project in the field of children's entertainment. Featuring no less than 22 musicians Kinderjazz - The Big Swing Band For Little Kids -literally rockets into the 21st century....when only the best will do.
This jazz orchestra plays latin (Jump) the blues( Bugs in My Body), congas(The Conga Man) and also gets downright funky(Cinderella). There is a mini-opera (The Pied Piper of Hamelin) plus a baroque consort complete wtih fugue (The Princess And The Pea). Other songs include traditional fairy tales such as "Rapunzel" and the "Three Little Piggies". With "Colours of the Rainbow" swinging away, the album heads for a strong close with "See You Later".
