"Good To Getaway" is Larry's second album, featuring strong melodies, thoughtful song structure, and high production values.
The album opens with the title track "Good To Getaway", a very strong song about a couple that in midlife hit the road in a foreign land thus thrusting themselves into rediscovering their relationship.
The upbeat "Crossroads" = couple meet up after many years apart.
"Be By Me" = kinda Beatleish.
"Carry it Away" = anthemlike
"Stalking The Wild Pendulum" = inspired by the book..solid track this.
"It's Only Human Nature" = A kind of apology at the end of a relationship for things said & done. Award winning song.
"Beautiful Song" = tried to write a beautiful song.
"Then There Was You" = more Beatle type stuff
"In Blue Daze" = A cool chillout track, getting back to lazy days.
"Walking In Western Park" A stroll thru Western Park in Ponsonby, Auckland New Zealand gave birth to this song.
