Bio / Background
Kevin, along with his partner Brian Doherty, form the group Evans and Doherty and are in constant demand world wide. They have ten dedicated recordings to their credit as well as numerous compilations. The group Evans and Doherty have been described as "The greatest folk duo still performing in the world" by Gerry Taylor of the Telegraph Journal. When not touring with Evans and Doherty, Kevin works with high end Celtic performers such as Tommy Makem, Liam Clancy, Rita MacNeil, John McDerrmott, Ashley MacIsaac, The Fureys, Natalie MacMaster, The Irish Descendants, Dave MacIsaac, Foster and Allen, Great Big Sea and Phil Coulter both live and in the studio. He is a multi instrumentalist who has been described as a "Jack of all trades and a master of all" in the Boston Globe. As lead vocalist for the country-folk group, The Garrison Bros., his voice made the top ten six times in a three year period...four of those at #1! His smooth vocals have also been featured on numerous national T.V.
