Bio / Background
"I just know there are people out there who listen to the radio and watch 'music television' that have lost faith in music. I want 'Balladeer' to reignite that passion for music and expose people to independent music that doesn't challenge the listener to the point where they feel like 'working' listening to it. I believe I've made an album that will find its way to true music lovers. It is my sincere hope that "Balladeer" will become the CD in their collections that they reach for when they want to turn a friend onto something really special"-Keith May
"Balladeer" opens with what Keith says is his, "attempt to write a new standard", "Brian". The song is a slinky, sexy, and humorous character study that finishes with a fabulous keyboard/guitar solo. And we're off.........
An amazing collection of songs follows. "Crime", "Soft Heart", and "Greek" are perfect summer-night driving songs. "Dancer" and "Fallen Waltz" are best experienced with headphones and a cold mixed drink.
