Bio / Background
On December 3rd,1927; Blind Willie Johnson was Recorded by the Columbia Record Company in Dallas,TX. That first session yielded Music that changed the World. Some of the songs recorded on this date influenced such artists as Eric Clapton,Ry Cooder,the Staple Singers and the Rock Band, Led Zeppelin.
In honor of the 75th anniversary of that Recording(December 3rd,2002), KM Williams has recorded a CD in the Great Gospel/Blues style of Blind Willie Johnson to ensure his music is not forgotten and embraced for the future. This is one CD everyone will enjoy,especially Gospel and OLD Style Country Blues fans.
