This CD is Authenic,Retro,Old Time Street Corner Guitar Evangelist Music as if it was made in 1920's during the time of Blind Willie Johnson or Blind Lemon Jefferson. KM Williams recorded even in the SAME WAY as his Texas predessors(One Mike straight into the Recording Console;Stella Guitar with no overdubbs;even scratchy and airy sounding like the paramount recording of the 20's),but what the Reverend KM Williams has achieved is THE SAME,RAW,GUTBUCKET sound that you hear on these classic recordings along with the INTENSE SPIRITUAL feel of the old Masters.He plays SINGING Slide guitar along thumped bass lines and gutbucket rhythms simultaneously;very similar to Blind Willie's or Fred McDowell's style ,but with a flair all of his own.RESURRECTION OF OLD TIME SPIRITUALS INDEED!
