Mississippi Delta blues meets old school hip hop? Try "White Lightning", by KC Booker. Elvis Presley swamp funk meets punk rock? Try KC Booker's "Lulu". Armed with an acoustic guitar and a boombox -- and nothing else -- KC Booker is half DJ, half blues-punk troubadour. A one-man band that rearranges the most durable elements of the past 50 years of rock and roll and forges them into a classic but modern sound.

KC Booker is also known as Kelleth Chinn, the singer/songwriter of European success story Big Soul. He is the musical engine of this blues/punk/dance power trio and has led the group through a successful recording and touring career, with over 300,000 albums sold. KC Booker and Big Soul were discovered when a French tourist bought a homemade CD at the Whisky-A-Go in LA. The CD found its way into the hands of a Parisian DJ, and two executives from Sony Music heard it in his club.
